Malaysia Techlympics 2025 took place on November 9 in the historic city of Melaka. The event attracted over 1.8 million student entries from Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, China, Mongolia and Malaysia, marking a milestone in innovation and collaboration.

Eight students from TG International School (TGIS) proudly participated in the Malaysia Techlympics 2025. They travelled with mentors, Teacher Michael and Teacher Mary. The team represented Cambodia on the global stage, carrying the hopes of their school and community.

TG International School Competes in EZ Rover Global Challenge
Held at the Melaka International Trade Centre (MITC), the venue buzzed with energy as students from many countries exchanged ideas and prepared for challenges. TG International School competed in the EZ Rover Global Challenge, entering two categories: Fastest Coding and Battle Robot.
Students practised tirelessly, refining coding skills and testing robots for peak performance.

During the Fastest Coding challenge, Matt Lester Lu, Wu Jia Xuan, Long Tech Seang, and Ingter Eung tackled complex programming tasks under pressure. In the Battle Robot challenge, Chan Ousa Piseth, Khemrethrakheta Kiev, Heng Fanny and Taing Kimchhay demonstrated engineering skills and resilience. They manoeuvred robots through intense head-to-head matches. Both teams showed creativity, discipline, and determination, earning admiration from peers and organisers.

Celebrating Character and Achievement Beyond Awards
TG International School earned praise for students’ excellent conduct during the Malaysia Techlympics 2025. Their respectful attitude and sportsmanship matched their technical achievements. Students showed confidence and resilience throughout the event. Success was reflected in awards, teamwork and lasting friendships — bringing pride to their school, families and Cambodia.
