Community and Kindness in Action: Supporting Operation Hope Foundation

Compassion and community spirit came alive as TG International School (TGIS) led a meaningful outreach initiative beyond the classroom.

On 13 March 2026, Principal Brenton Toh, Grade 10 students, and staff visited Operation Hope Foundation in Prey Veng Province. The team personally delivered cash and essential items, reflecting the school’s commitment to service learning and social responsibility.

The visit showed how a united school community can bring hope, dignity, and positive change to those in need.

Community Generosity That Made the Outreach Possible

The generosity of parents, families, school partners, and staff made this outreach initiative possible. A total of $700.22 was raised during the school’s Christmas Market back in December 2025, alongside thoughtfully donated essential items.

Each contribution was carefully planned to bring comfort, encouragement, and joy to the children at the foundation. This outreach highlighted the power of a caring school community united by purpose, kindness, and meaningful social impact.

Extending Learning Beyond the Classroom

At TG International School and Kinderland International Preschool Cambodia, learning extends beyond academics into real‑world impact. Outreach initiatives like this reflect a strong commitment to empathy, service learning, and social responsibility.

By supporting the Operation Hope Foundation, the school community showed how collective generosity creates meaningful, lasting change. These experiences inspire students and families to contribute positively to society with purpose and compassion.

Building Hope and Brighter Futures

This outreach programme inspired students to develop compassion, empathy, and social responsibility through meaningful community engagement. The experience also brought joy and encouragement to the children at the Operation Hope Foundation.

Through shared moments of service, students learned the value of kindness, generosity, and giving back. These connections fostered hope, strengthened relationships, and contributed to a more caring, compassionate community.
