Learning Through Friendly Competition

The Math & Science Quiz Bee was designed to help students apply classroom learning in a dynamic and engaging format. The competition followed a fast-paced question-and-answer format, where participants were required to respond quickly and accurately. With timed rounds ranging from 5 seconds for simpler questions to longer intervals for more complex problems, students were challenged to think critically under pressure while demonstrating a strong understanding of key mathematics and science concepts.

Progressing from Elimination Rounds to the Qualifying Stage

The competition began with elimination rounds held in the school auditorium, where students competed within their respective grade levels. The top 5 students from each grade advanced to a more demanding qualifying round, facing increasingly challenging quizzes.

As the competition progressed, the excitement grew. The subsequent top 5 performers from each grade moved on to the semi‑finals, known as the Pyramid Round, featuring a similarly fast‑paced knockout format. The atmosphere reached its peak in the school auditorium, where the grand finals featured an intense head-to-head battle between the two finalists to determine the grade-level champion.
